Veggie Gardening with Mike Hendricks
 



While spring is weeks away, it's not too soon to plan this year's vegetable garden. Whether you're a first timer, or you've been gardening for years, you're sure to benefit from the experiences of longtime Kansas City Star columnist Mike Hendricks and his wife, Roxie Hammill. Their new book, Mike and Roxie's Vegetable Paradise, is both a hands-on how-to and memoir based on their 25 years of gardening in the Kansas City area. Join Mike and Roxie to hear how you can  save money and take charge of what you eat by growing your own food in your own backyard.
